Who We Are

Manathric Intelligence is a UK-based infrastructure intelligence company. We provide grid intelligence data, research notes, and analytics to infrastructure investors, project developers, and advisory firms.

What Data We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to operate our service and distribute intelligence. The categories of personal data we collect are:

Email addressUsed to send research notes, intelligence briefs, and account-related communications.

Firm nameUsed to contextualise your access tier and tailor research distribution.

Role / job titleOptionally provided during access requests; used to assess partnership fit.

IP addressRecorded automatically in server logs for security monitoring and abuse prevention.

Browser type / deviceCollected via privacy-respecting analytics (no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking).

We do not collect payment card data directly. Any payment processing is handled by our payment provider under their own data controller obligations.

Why We Collect It

Legal Basis (UK GDPR)

We process personal data under the following lawful bases as defined in UK GDPR Article 6:

Legitimate interestDistribution of research notes to subscribers who have expressed interest in infrastructure intelligence. We have conducted a balancing test and determined this does not override subscriber rights.

Contractual necessityProcessing required to fulfil a data partnership or client account agreement, including account authentication and service delivery.

ConsentMarketing emails sent only where explicit consent has been given. Consent can be withdrawn at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting hello@manathric.com.

Data Storage and Processors

Your data is stored and processed using the following sub-processors. We have data processing agreements in place with each:

SupabaseSubscriber and account data is stored in a Supabase PostgreSQL database hosted in the EU region (Frankfurt, AWS eu-central-1). Supabase is SOC 2 Type II certified.

Render.comStatic site hosting. Render processes request metadata (IP, browser type) in accordance with their privacy policy. No subscriber personal data is stored on Render infrastructure.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third-party advertisers, data brokers, or analytics vendors that use data for profiling or targeting.

Data Retention

Account dataRetained for as long as your account is active, plus 12 months following account closure to fulfil legal obligations and respond to disputes.

Subscriber dataRetained for 24 months from the date of subscription, or until you unsubscribe — whichever comes first. Upon unsubscription, your email is removed from active distribution lists within 5 business days.

Server logsIP addresses and request metadata in server logs are retained for 90 days and then automatically purged.

After the applicable retention period, data is permanently deleted from our systems and from Supabase storage. We do not maintain archives of personal data beyond these periods.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@manathric.com with the subject line "Data Subject Request". We will respond within 30 days.

—Right of access — request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
—Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
—Right to erasure — request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
—Right to data portability — receive your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format (JSON or CSV).
—Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interest at any time. We will cease processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We use a minimal cookie policy in line with our no-tracking commitment:

Session cookieSet by Supabase authentication when you log in to the client portal. This cookie is strictly necessary for authentication and expires when your session ends or after 7 days. It cannot be opted out of without forgoing authenticated access.

Marketing cookiesNone. We do not place advertising, retargeting, or marketing cookies.

Third-party trackingNone. We do not load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party tracking scripts.

Because we only use a strictly necessary authentication cookie, we are not required to obtain cookie consent under UK PECR. We display this notice as a transparency measure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when we change how we process data or when required to do so by law. Changes will be published on this page with an updated date at the top. If the changes are material, we will notify active subscribers by email.

We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
